A timid, shy, introverted girl was once a fierce and incessant bookworm, finding solace from the fears of life in her books and dolls.
She had a passion for the English Language, wrote poems and short stories ,yet failed to share them with others. This continued for many years, until COVID-19, when her hidden gem re-emerged in the now mature woman. Encouraged by her sons, former class-mates and colleagues, she put her thoughts in the open.
The woman, Roze, rose to the occasion and decided that the time was ripe for public view.
I am Rosemond, commonly known as ROSE, ROSIE, ROZE, to former classmates, colleagues and friends. My Blog site features elements of personal experience, observations, issues often done in my yard, my GARDEN.
I find solace in writing and use it to uplift myself, inspire and motivate others and escape from the pressing matters of this crazy space, WORLD, our home.
Being a native of the Nature Island of the world, Dominica in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, greenness, outdoors, flora and fauna intrigue me, take me to a happier, simpler time and ground me to propel upwards and onwards.
